Propel ATL wants Atlanta city leaders to increase the Atlanta Department of Transportation’s proposed budget to match other major cities. The current proposal increases the department’s budget by 2%, which doesn’t keep up with the inflation rate.

On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Rebecca Serna, the executive director of Propel ATL, discusses how the proposed budget does not make up for funding cuts from the previous year.

Serna also shares what her organization hopes additional funding could be used for.
