The Alabama Supreme Court recently ruled that frozen embryos can be considered children; therefore, they are protected under Alabama’s Wrongful Death of a Minor Act.

The court’s controversial ruling has raised nationwide alarm about whether the future of in vitro fertilization is at risk.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Wendell Griffen, a retired Arkansas Court of Appeals & Circuit Court Judge, discussed the potential impact of the ruling, calling it anti-intellectual and anti-woman.
