Rich Homie Quan, Shaggy To Headline Passport Experience Fest

Rapper Rich Homie Quan and reggae singer Shaggy will headline the second annual Passport Experience Festival in Atlanta.

Grammy-winning singer Akon returns as host of the daylong concert held at Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday. The festival will feature more than 20 performers representing 10 different countries including Nigeria and Virgin Islands.

DJ Fully Focus, the creator of the festival, says he is aiming to unite music lovers from all cultural backgrounds in a way. The festival celebrates diversity and cultural pride in music involving Soca, Reggaeton and Afrobeat.



Other performers include Virgin Island-bred/music duo R. City, D’Banj, Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage and South African-born DJ Maphorisa, who co-produced Drake’s hit single “One Dance.”

Ying Yang Twins and Gyptian headlined last year’s festival, which had 8,000 in attendance.
