At the Savoy Automobile Museum, classic, vintage, rare and eclectic cars are always the subject of celebration and fascination.

For its latest exhibition, the real-life cars of classic and contemporary cinema are back in the spotlight. “Movie Cars,” on view through Aug. 4, displays iconic vehicles from films up to a century old and in pristine condition.

Mary Agrusa is the curator of the new exhibition at the Savoy Automobile Museum, and she joined Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” to discuss the new exhibition.

“Each of the cars in the exhibit is the vehicle that was in the movie,” Agrusa told Reitzes. “It is not something that was built to replicate what was in the movie. It was actually there. That was the main criteria when we were curating the exhibit.”
