“See What We’re Made of:” Synchronicity Engages at-Risk Girls
This weekend, Synchronicity Theatre’s Playmaking for Girls program puts on its eleventh annual performance.
In the program, plays written by girls in detention facilities are passed on to girls outside of detention—to be rehearsed and performed for the outside world. A couple of years back, WABE’s Kate Sweeney went to Playmaking Camp, and came back with this report.
Broadcast version of story that aired Thursday, June 13, 2013
