Senior GOP adviser responds to Biden's planned Georgia visit on voting rights

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are scheduled to visit Georgia Tuesday where they’re expected to support changing the filibuster rules to advance voting rights legislation.
A white house official referred to it as visiting the “belly of the beast” when it comes to what Democrats consider voter suppression.
Senior adviser and Republican National Committee spokesperson Paris Dennard joined “Morning Edition” to explain why Republicans vehemently push back on that characterization and oppose voting rights legislation that has stalled in Congress.
