In pro basketball, the Atlanta Hawks will be talking to free agent center Dwight Howard in July.

Howard, who played his prep school basketball at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy, spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

If the Hawks land Howard, he will certainly draw fans to Philips Arena. T

he big question, though, is whether Howard will fit the Hawks’ long-range plans. WABE’s Denis O’Hayer got some thoughts from Atlanta Journal-Constitution sports columnist Mark Bradley.
