Six People Shot At Kennesaw FedEx Facility

Wednesday’s new developments:
- Cobb County police have identified 19-year-old Geddy Kramer of Acworth as the gunman who shot six employees at a FedEx facility in Kennesaw yesterday before turning the gun on himself.
- Of the six people shot, hospital officials say that one man is still in critical condition, two are hospitalized in stable condition, and the other three have been released.
- Police declined to comment on Kramer’s motive, saying at this point it’s speculation.
- Cobb police say that FedEx has hired extra police officers to patrol their Kennesaw facility. FedEx officials declined to confirm this, saying they don’t comment on security procedures.

A news conference about the condition of the victims of this morning’s shooting at a FedEx facility in Kennesaw has just concluded at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Doctors at the hospital reported that three of the victims are in critical condition, one is in stable condition, and two have received treatment and should be released soon.
Cobb Police have indicated that there will be no further news conferences today.

Police have not identified the suspect who was found dead from a self-inflicted gun wound after allegedly opening fire at a FedEx location in Kennesaw.
They describe the alleged gunman as a male package handler who worked at the FedEx site.
Police say he was discovered with a shotgun, which they believe to be the weapon that was used.

Six Shot At FedEx Kennesaw Facility: Six people were shot by a single gunman at the Kennesaw FedEx facility just off Cobb Parkway near McCollum Field. The injured have been taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where one is in critical condition.
