The special Atlanta-based grand jury that has been investigating whether former President Donald Trump and his allies committed any crimes while trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election completed its final report.

Earlier this week, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, issued an order dissolving the special grand jury.

Now that the special grand jury has ended its probe and been dissolved, many are wondering what’s next in the case.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” former U.S. Attorney Michael J. Moore predicted that federal charges are coming down the pipeline.

“I think it’s very like somebody will be charged, but it may not be Trump,” said Moore.

During the conversation, Moore also talked about why political influence, racial differences, and social economic differences sometimes impact how cases are prosecuted.
