Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams has been busy since her last race for governor.
She’s joining the faculty at the prestigious historically Black College — Howard University — in Washington D.C. this September.
She’s no stranger to politics and no stranger to topping the New York Times Bestseller list. Her latest thriller, “Rogue Justice”, follows her first book in the series, “While Justice Sleeps”.
In it, you’ll find a gripping and scandalous secret court, a blackmailed federal judge and a shocking murder. It delves into the life of a fictional Supreme Court law clerk, a character who Abrams writes partially as a standalone creation — and also an extension of her younger self.
Abrams recently sat down with WABE’s Morning Edition to discuss her transition to opportunities outside of Georgia politics and where her drive to write comes from.
