Atlanta civil rights leader Rev. C.T. Vivian recently received the nation’s highest civilian award, the Medal of Freedom, from President Barack Obama.  

In part one of a conversation with WABE’s Denis O’Hayer, Dr. Vivian talked about the influence of the civil rights movement on Nelson Mandela, and vice versa.
