On Saturday, March 24, VOX ATL took to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta to join fellow Atlanta teens for #marchforourlivesatl.

We asked attendees in the estimated crowd of 30,000 some gut-wrenching questions on why guns should or shouldn’t be sold, how to get legislative recognition in response to school gun violence and how the general public feels about gun violence.

The questions that lie in the balance are: “How do we get change?” and “Does our nation need these assault style weapons?”

Take a journey with VOX ATL reporter India Rice, and see why these protests were made and what inspired attendees to participate.
