The Atlanta Music Project is celebrating its 10th anniversary. During the month of February, AMP will offer a series of free concerts highlighting the music of Africa and the African Diaspora.
Selections include works from Africa to Cuba performed by AMP students. Dantes Rameau, the co-founder and CEO of the Atlanta Music Project, and Aisha Moody, chief program officer, joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk about the program.
The Atlanta Music Project’s free concert series will begin on Sunday at the Atlanta Music Project Center for Performance & Education and The Sylvan Middle School.
