Robert Lucas, also known as “The Sweet Impact,” is a self-taught cake artist from our home state of Georgia. His talent for abstract cake designs has earned him national recognition, millions of followers on social media and also led him to be chosen as a coach for “The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge” on Netflix. In this interview, the baking artist joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk more about his artistry and the Netflix series.
“I learn from every single cake I make. And every time I do it, I’ll make sure I get it better than the first,” Lucas says.
