Matt Paxton has been helping families find the upside of downsizing for almost 20 years. He brings that expertise to the PBS series “Legacy List,” now in its second season.

Paxton says the show is a sort of mash-up of “Antiques Roadshow” and “Finding Your Roots.”

“We’re finding the items in your home, and we share the really fond stories of your loved ones,” he says. “I think the difference is we purposefully don’t talk about the financial value. We only want to know the emotional value.”

Paxton joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk about the show. “Legacy List” airs on ATL PBA Wednesdays at 5 p.m.
