The New Orleans Jazz Museum gets a facelift with some help from educator and Jazz producer John Snyder

In the city of New Orleans, where jazz was born, the history of the uniquely American art form is preserved for future generations at the New Orleans Jazz Museum.

Now, a generous expansion of the facility’s footprint will create new opportunities for education and enjoyment, backed in large part by the support of legendary trumpeter and producer Herb Alpert.

Coordinating the new expansion project is another champion of American music: producer and manager John Snyder, whose career has seen him in studios with such iconic artists as Dave Brubeck, Chet Baker, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and many more.

Snyder joins Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” to share some more information on the bright new future for the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
