At Trellis Horticultural Therapy Alliance, gardening is a source of joy everyone can experience. This year, with the help of a newly received grant from Dekalb County, Trellis is offering expanded programming for local aspiring gardeners living with disabilities.

In this interview, “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes speaks about Trellis’ next chapter with Trellis co-founders Rachel Cochran and Wendy Battaglia, and Trellis board member Christine Trotman, who is also a parent of one of the program’s participants.

Trellis provides gardening and outdoor opportunities for Atlantans with disabilities, and you can find out more about their upcoming programming here.
