Former Atlanta detectives Vince Velazquez and David Quinn pride themselves on making local communities safer. They were partners for 17 years when they worked for the Atlanta Police Department. The duo are still partners in retirement and are hosts of the new true crime TV One series, “Deadly Case Files.”

On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Velazquez and Quinn talk with host Rose Scott about the show, which aims to give viewers an inside look at how homicide investigators work together to solve cases in the Atlanta area. During the discussion, they also reflected on their careers and the importance of humanizing victims when solving cases and getting justice for their families.
