Vice President Kamala Harris visited several locations around Savannah. She dropped by a band rehearsal at Liberty County High School, Sandfly BBQ, and Dottie’s Market, a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger put Jill Stein, Cornel West and Claudia De la Cruz back on the ballot, overruling a decision made by an administrative law judge taking those three and Kennedy off the ballot.
Kennedy recently announced that he was suspending his campaign and taking his name off presidential ballots in battleground states. He also backed former President Donald Trump.

Five Georgians will participate in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris: McKenzie Coan and Gia Pergolini in swimming, Bailey Moody in wheelchair basketball and Ryan Medrano and Jarryd Wallace in track and field.
Medrano is making his Paralymic debut, and the four other athletes have previously competed and have five gold, two silver and two bronze medals between them.

Many schools across Georgia and the U.S. are implementing personal device bans in an effort to increase student engagement in classrooms. At Midtown High School in Atlanta, staff are seeing a boost in morale. Some student concerns remain surrounding lack of access to parents in the case of an emergency.
