It’s that two Georgia judges have blocked rules passed by the State Election Board.

Fulton County Superior Judge Robert McBurney ruled on Tuesday that local election board members in Georgia cannot refuse to certify results even if they suspect fraud or errors. Later that day, McBurney also temporarily blocked a rule that would have required poll workers to hand count the number of ballots cast on Election Day.

On Wednesday, Fulton County Superior Judge Thomas Cox Jr. invalidated the rule on hand-counting, as well as rules that could have allowed local election boards to refuse to certify election results.
