WABE's Week In Review: Fulton DA Willis calls for August trial date for Trump and Rosalynn Carter enters hospice

DA Fani Willis in a new filing says the Georgia election interference trial should start August 5, 2024.

Prosecutors have said they expect the trial will last months, meaning this case would likely stretch through the election, into 2025.
