Whole Foods Market will close one of its Atlanta locations, just as it opens a new flagship store in Midtown.
Whole Foods (NASDAQ:WFM) confirmed it will close its store on Briarcliff Road, which had been the company’s very first location in Atlanta.
It plans on April 5 to launch a new flagship store at 14th and West Peachtree streets in Midtown. That location will feature four levels, including a rooftop terrace.
“Whole Foods Market is excited to be growing in the Atlanta with our brand new 70,000-square-foot multi-level flagship Whole Foods Market Midtown opening on April 5,” the company said in a statement to Atlanta Business Chronicle.
