For over 150 years, Morehouse College has educated a growing list of notable alumni like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Spike Lee, Maynard Jackson and many others. Now, that list includes the institution’s own 13th president.
Dr. F. DuBois Bowman, a biostatistician and public health leader, joins Morehouse after several years as the dean of the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
“I arrived really curious, eager, anxious, nervous but really, really excited to begin the college journey,” said Bowman, who didn’t imagine a career in academic leadership when he first started at Morehouse.
