Roomful of Teeth, the Grammy Award-winning vocal project, is coming to Georgia State University.
The ensemble studies with masters of vocal techniques the world over, from Tuvan throat singing to yodeling and Broadway show tune belting.
Founding member Caroline Shaw won the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2013 for her “Partita for 8 Voices,” a piece she wrote for Roomful of Teeth.
On “City Lights,” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Shaw about the ensemble’s residency at Georgia State University, as well as their upcoming concert at the Rialto Center for the Arts.
